East Sussex Recovery Alliance is recruiting an Asset Based Community Development Worker.
We use an asset-based community development approaches to build on the assets that are already in the community to build capacity for those in Recovery from drug and Alcohol addiction
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with demonstrated community development expertise, to promote recovery services across East Sussex. This person will manage the ABCD fund and identify established groups to apply for the funding. To provide additional activities for those in recovery across East Sussex.
Asset Based Community Development Worker
Working across county
30 hours a week (these hours will be flexible, may involve evening and weekend)
Salary: NJC scale 23: £22,492.70
Fixed term contract until 31st May 2024
You will work collaboratively and proactively with a range of stakeholders, partners, community groups, voluntary sector organisations, and other public agencies, to coordinate and develop opportunities that improve outcomes for people who are in recovery. You will attend network and partnership meetings as required, promoting recovery services across
East Sussex.
