Churches, Community and Events Fundraiser - Brighton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Community Fundraiser to join Family Support Work as we plan to increase our work across Sussex. We are seeking a career minded individual who is looking for a challenge as we set out to meet our ambitious growth plans.  You will be an experienced fundraiser who is highly organised and have a good track record engaging local groups and churches in fundraising activities. You will be working as a part of a newly created fundraising team. Reporting to the Director you will have responsibility for the development of the strategy for this area of fundraising. FSW has a long association with the Churches of Sussex and with many community groups and we are looking for someone to build on this as well further development with working in schools.Family Support Work works closely with the Diocese of Chichester and has been active across East and West Sussex since 1890. We currently have a team of seven family support workers and a team of play workers who offer support to families in need.
