We represent and advocate for the voluntary and community sector with local government and other statutory authorities.
Responsible to: Community Development Manager
Location: This post is based across our 3 delivery areas (Eastbourne, Lewes and Wealden) in East Sussex, with work in a hybrid environment and Community Hubs as well as travel across East Sussex
Salary: NJC Scale Point 26
Hours per week: £30, 451 37 hours pro rata 22.5 (£18,517.50)
Pension: 6% employer contribution
Holiday: pro rata: 25 days plus statutory holidays
Contract: Permanent
Purpose of the role:
As a Community Development Officer you will work within our delivery areas to support develop, facilitate a vibrant, dynamic and connected voluntary and community sector in East Sussex, building capacity in individuals and groups to support local activities and initiatives which benefit the community.
