We are recruiting for a Community Development Worker to work in partnership with residents and agencies in specific marginalised communities to maximise and build on the wealth of assets that people and communities possess.
As Community Development Worker you will have the knowledge and expertise to adopt the principles and associated methodology of Asset Based Community Development to support communities to:
· Identify their assets, opportunities, rights, and responsibilities
· Plan what they want to achieve and take appropriate action
· Develop activities, projects and services to generate positive change for themselves and their community.
Salary: £26,000.00 pro rata
Part-time hours: 24 per week
