In2play is a Community Interest Company, committed to safeguarding children. We provide opportunities for Early Years, play and outdoor learning for children and families. We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner for our Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING, IN2PLAY OUTDOOR PRE-SCHOOL for 2-5 year olds.
Early Years Practitioners
The role is to support children to reach their own individual potential and to ensure all children in their care are happy, safe and stimulated. You will implement and work within the statutory framework of EYFS and other legislative guidance and policies.
As a member of the In2play team you will also maintain a safe, secure and caring environment, act as a key person for a nominated group of children and to be responsible for planning, observing, assessments and record keeping in accordance with the EYFS.
Committed and enthusiastic, you’ll have plenty of energy to deliver play and Early Years opportunities, and ideally have strong Early Years skills and experience. A love for the outdoor environment and a positive attitude about working in all weathers is essential as the pre-school is based outside. You will be working alongside apprentices and degree qualified colleagues where you all support and encourage each other to deliver the best possible team work.
Based at Hastings Adventure Playground, term time only, 3-5 days per week
You must be prepared to work flexible hours. You will need to be a good communicator and an enthusiastic team player. You will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience of working with children and a relevant level 3 (or above) qualification. Pay will be £9.90 per hour
