Health Walks are free one hour group walks designed to help people to build a regular walking habit for benefits to physical and mental health. We have about 100 walks a month across the county and nearly 20,000 annual engagements. Thanks to new ESCC funding, we are now recruiting for a full-time Coordinator so we can start expanding the scheme again so that even more people can take part.
All of our Health Walks are led by volunteer health walk leaders. The Coordinator's role is to manage the volunteer team, recruit and train new leaders, set up new health walks, and all the elements of project coordination such as marketing, health and safety oversight, admin, data collection, report writing, budgets, expenses, etc.
• The job is 35hr/week based in the Hastings office but covering the whole county; there is a TCV pool car available for travel.
