Citizens Advice 1066 is a local charity, providing free, confidential and independent advice to help people overcome their problems. We don’t just fix the immediate issues people arrive with, we work with them to address the underlying causes of these problems. We are a voice for people on the issues that matter to them. We value diversity, champion equality and challenge discrimination. We are seeking a General Advice Service Supervisor to join our expanding team.
Role: General Advice Service Supervisor
Salary: £30,000 (full time – pro rata for part time).
Hours: 37 hours per week, potential for part-time or flexible hours.
Location: St Leonards-on-Sea and Bexhill-on-Sea.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the general advice delivery service. They will undertake the supervision and development of volunteer general advisers, people undertaking training or work experience and any assigned paid staff. It is desirable, but not essential, to have advice agency experience. However, the successful candidate will share our values and be able to support and develop volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds.
