Men’s Mental Health Project Coordinator

Mind in Brighton and Hove (MiBH) empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex. We are seeking a part time project coordinator based in Hastings, East Sussex to work on our Men’s Mental Health Hastings project.

Men’s Mental Health Project Coordinator
Salary £25,818 per annum, pro rata (actual salary £15,491)
Part time, 21 hours (3 days) per week
Fixed term until 31st December 2023 

The project contributes to improving the mental health of men, particularly between 30-59 years of age, and to reduce suicide rates in East Sussex. The project coordinator role involves overseeing a community development fund, which gives groups of men or individuals funding to support men’s wellbeing groups in Hastings. The project also runs outreach and engagement work and activities raising awareness of men’s mental health and challenging stigma. 
We are seeking a project coordinator for three days per week, to work alongside our current project coordinator to continue the delivery of the project.

This is an opportunity to gain paid experience in men’s mental health, working on an established project. We are looking for someone who is passionate about tackling stigma, raising awareness of men’s mental health and who can work with community groups to support the continued growth of men’s wellbeing in Hastings.
