Money Adviser – Domestic and Economic Abuse Partnership

35 hours a week (part time applicants considered, minimum of 14 hours a week) fixed term until 31/3/20

Thanks to additional funding from the Home Office, we are expanding our Domestic and Economic Abuse Partnership (DEAP).  This is a partnership of Money Advice Plus’ Domestic Abuse and Money Education project (DAME) and Surviving Economic Abuse https://survivingeconomicabuse.org/
Together we are supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse in the key area of economic abuse.   Economic abuse is a method of coercion and control often used by perpetrators to prevent victims from leaving or dealing with an abusive relationship.  Those who have survived are often left with debt and money difficulties.
Please note this job is open to women only and are exempt under schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010.
Closing date: 9am, Monday 8th April 2019
Interviews will be on Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th April 2019
