Navigation Service: Outreach Worker

The Seaview Project is an award-winning community based charity rooted in the heart of St Leonards and reaching out across East Sussex to those living on the margins of society.

We have an exciting and rewarding role of a recovery services Outreach worker who will support the service coordinator to lead and deliver the county wide asset based community development service.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team, with opportunities for professional development, and to making a positive impact in the communities across East Sussex.

Purpose

The role of the Navigation Service Outreach Worker is to support the Lead worker and service coordinator to deliver the service to people with substance misuse and other compound needs across the whole county. The role will also involve supporting volunteers and trainees to help provide the service, coaching them and giving them clear direction.

The aim of the project is to help build on the number of assets in the community that are supportive of people seeking recovery. Community development will take place by engaging people with substance misuse, helping them to build recovery capital and enhancing individuals’ strengths.
