Project Coordinator: Men’s Mental Health Training and Skills Project (East Sussex)
28 hours: £24, 825 per annum, pro rata (actual salary £19,860)
Fixed term until December 2024
We are seeking a project coordinator to develop and deliver Mind in Brighton and Hove’s new Men’s Mental Health Training and Skills Project in East Sussex. The aim of the project is to provide a range of training and skills activities to engage and equip men to have supportive conversations about mental health and wellbeing with their peers. The project will focus on engaging public facing businesses and spaces where men work and visit across East Sussex. For example; pubs, barbers, sports venues, construction, bus companies, refuse collection, fire service.
The role will be varied and busy requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly. We are looking for someone with good understanding of the main issues surrounding men’s mental health, who can design and deliver training activities and resources responding to identified skills and training needs.
