We are looking for a full time project worker for our Get Set Opening Doors project.
Possability People’s Community Employment Services Get Set Opening Doors project empowers and enables people to overcome the barriers they might face to getting a job, with our support on each step of the journey.
This is provided through a mix of one to one personalised support as well as range of courses, workshops and a job club. The support we offer is for the long term supporting people not only into work but in work also.
The project worker role will be delivering the project in our Hastings and Eastbourne locations.
PROJECT WORKER – Hastings and Eastbourne – Full Time
14 month fixed term contract (potential extension, funding dependent)
35 hours per week
Salary: £25927.00
Previous experience is not essential, we are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to bring skills that may come from a different background. Someone who has the passion, determination and drive to make a difference, through empowering people with long term health conditions to achieve their employment goals and aspirations.
You will work with the support of the Community Employment Service Manager and other team members to deliver this unique personalised provision supporting our participants to move into meaningful employment.
You will also work to build relationships with local employers to improve employment opportunities for disabled people as well as external organisations for referral routes.
Full training will be given across locations and lived experience of a long term health condition is an advantage due to the nature of the role.
