Recovery Workers

Staying Well Service (Carisbrooke House, St Leonards) 
Up to 37 hours per week     
Salary:  £20,273-£22,234 per year 
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of developing and delivering a new service for people experiencing mental health difficulties outside of normal service operating times. The service will offer dedicated support to individuals 7 days a week (excl. bank holidays) between the hours of 6pm and 11pm. Mon – Fri and 3pm and 11pm Sat and Sun. The service will take referrals on a daily basis from colleagues working across a number of statutory and community services. It will offer brief interventions designed to help people deescalate their distress in the short term and link in with appropriate services to better manage their mental health in the longer term.
Flexible hours are available up to full time. Staff will be required to work weekends on a rotational basis and will need to be able to commit to working shifts at night.
You should have experience of working in a mental health setting, and be able to respond to crises in a calm, professional and supportive way. You will be committed to working within a co-production model to develop the service.
