Emerging Futures are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to provide strong, visible operational leadership and direct line management to the teams responsible for the delivery of the Emerging Futures substance misuse support contract.

This new and exciting project will support individuals towards developing resilience and the capacity to live successful and fulfilling lives free of active addiction and other health inflicting conditions. You will support the implementation of a psychologically informed environment as well as managing a team of employees and professional volunteers. You will lead on the recruitment, training and supervision of staff and volunteer Coaches and will support the delivery of interventions that will show commitment to the recovery coaching model and evidence base.

What you will be doing:
Recruiting, training, and supervising Recovery Coaches and support the development of local mutual aid for families.
Managing a team of staff to deliver wellbeing interventions and other structured psycho-social interventions.
Working closely with colleagues delivering emergency, transitional move on accommodation to vulnerable groups across the county.
Taking an active role in the wider community and create opportunities for partnership working to make recovery visible, viable and an attractive option for all.
Supporting the Service Manager with the financial management of petty cash, finance systems and project budgets.
Delivering our accredited 5-day Recovery and Family Coach training as regularly as is required within the contract.
Working closely with family, carers, and significant others of those attending the program including co-attended group sessions.
Some of the skills, knowledge and experience you will have:
Experience of managing staff in demanding community environments including active supervision.
Administration, IT, and data collection skills including using relevant IT systems such as Microsoft, CRiiS and InForm.
An understanding/experience of recovery as a concept as well as the range of recovery pathways available in the community and support individuals to find their own pathway.
Experience of group work and training planning and delivery.
Ability to manage budgets, cashflow and petty cash systems.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with partners.
An understanding of addiction and the impact on the family in order to support meaningful community engagement outside of structured treatment/criminal justice settings.
