Tempo Arts (TA) initiates & delivers projects & events in East Sussex & beyond which specialise in contemporary visual arts, artists' film & video, performance & sound.
TA aims to devise free creative opportunities for people with limited access to engage with high quality & innovative arts provision & in doing so to promote healthy, creative communities.
Many of TA's projects involve people living in areas of high deprivation or who have challenging life situations. Projects in the public space demonstrate that contemporary art can enhance the urban landscape & make a positive contribution to people's lives.
TA works with a range of partners & organisations to deliver projects & actions which benefit the local community, visitors to the area & a wide-ranging arts audience.
