Preventing Intimate Partner Abuse CIC
Our aim is to provide domestic violence programmes and services that support perpetrators of domestic violence to change their use of violent & abusive behaviours and increase safety for victims and children.
The programmes we provide seek to directly address the abusive actions of domestic violence perpetrators and hold them accountable for their behaviour.
We also provide linked support services for (ex)partners of perpetrators attending the programmes as part of this process to increase safety and reduce reoffending.
We proactively seek to work with other community services engaged in domestic violence work, including: The police, social services, health services, Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC), drug & alcohol services, existing victim support networks and women's organisations, as appropriate, to promote Co-ordinated Community Response Models (CCRM)to domestic violence.
