HVA would like to extend our sympathy to Hastings Lions and all the organisers, runners, and charities involved in this year's Hastings Half Marathon, which was sadly unable to go ahead as planned.
A huge amount of time, hard work and commitment goes in to co-ordinating an event of this scale, much of which is undertaken on a voluntary basis. A key event in the Hastings calendar, the half marathon also plays a vital role in raising funds and awareness for many charities operating in and around the town.
Well done to all those runners who found creative ways to complete the 13.1miles and continue to support their chosen charities - here's looking forward to the next one!
