On behalf of the Charity Commission, HVA was asked to re-invest the assets of an Older People’s Charity. We are pleased that this contributed to the successful acquisition and operation of the Isabel Blackman Centre, which has offered services to over 2000 people. The investment we made also enabled other funding to be realised from other Trusts and Charities to save and renew a much loved Hastings asset. In the interests of transparency and to describe the process, we have published a report approved by our Trustees describing the consultation which was undertaken and the process which was followed.
