Carer Support Worker – Hospital 

Up to 30 hours per week, part time hours will be considered

Salary: £26,421 per annum, based on 37 hours per week 
(pro rate for part time hours)

Contract term: 1 year fixed term

Primary Location: Hastings, East Sussex 
We have office bases at Eastbourne, Uckfield, Hastings and Lewes together with the option of hybrid working and remote working

Closing date: Monday 17th June 2024 at 9am

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Carers Health Programme, working with the NHS in a hospital setting, to;
•    provide information, advice, support and guidance to unpaid carers in the Conquest Hospital in Hastings
•    referring carers to services provided by voluntary and statutory sector partners
•    empowering carers to develop their skills and confidence in their caring role, build their resilience and ability to prioritise their own health and wellbeing
•    empowering Secondary Care staff to identify, refer and support unpaid carers
