Women’s Accommodation Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Brighton Women’s Centre. We are recruiting an experienced and highly skilled Women’s Accommodation Support worker (WASW) to be based at Seaview in Hastings.

 

Women’s Accommodation Support Worker 21 hours/ week

Salary £22,937 pro rata (fixed term for 3 years)

 

The WASW will be responsible for supporting homeless and insecurely housed women identified through multi-agency referrals and assertive outreach through intensive community based wrap around holistic case work support and weekly women only peer group drop-in services.  She will ensure that the service is delivered to a high standard and that service targets and outcomes are met.  She will be responsible for the successful completion of quarterly and yearly reporting and ensure that this is carried out effectively.

 

The right candidates will have significant experience of working with a range of complex and inter-related social exclusion issues as well as an understanding and awareness of equalities issues in relation to women.
