Little Gate Farm are seeking a Trainer and Facilitator to deliver high quality Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism, working alongside a Co Trainer with lived experience to provide engaging, person-centred learning. The role ensures training is delivered in line with the national model, improving workforce understanding, confidence and capability to better support autistic people and people with a learning disability.
Location:
This role is field based across East Sussex and does not have a single fixed work location. The postholder will be expected to deliver training at various sites throughout East Sussex, depending on service need.Although the role is primarily mobile, you will also be required to attend team meetings, supervision, and training sessions at the Charity’s offices as scheduled. Your home may also be considered a base for work, including planning, administrative duties, and virtual meetings.
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Probationary period: 6 months
Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks per annum inclusive of bank and public holidays – calculated pro-rata to hours worked.
Contract type: Bank staff casual agreement - the services you provide to us are on an ‘ad hoc’ and casual basis. Hours offered will vary from week to week and may be on any day of the week.
Safeguarding requirements: All employees, workers and volunteers, regardless of their posts, share in the responsibility for protecting our work trainees, young rangers and students, keeping them safe from harm whilst they are attending Little Gate and for reporting concerns about any person’s welfare and safety.This person will work in regulated activity with vulnerable groups and individuals providing in work support and coaching, mentoring and supporting travel.
