The manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the Southwater Area Community Centre (SACC), 1-2 Stainsby Street, which is used by a wide variety of organisations, working with, reporting to and accountable to the SACC Trustees. The duties will include taking bookings, maintaining a bookings diary, and issuing keys to the Centre. Also, to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the Centre and liaise with outside contractors. The manager is the public face of the Centre and good interpersonal skills are essential. No other admin. staff are employed, and the manager must be comfortable working alone in the office. 4 weeks annual leave (80 hours) plus all current Bank and Public Holidays.
