Amaze are hiring an Amaze Young People’s Peer Support Intern in Eastbourne.
12 hours a week for up to 8 months with the potential of extending this to a year funding permitting
£9.98 per hour (based on living wage guidelines)

The role involves helping to develop our service to young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who understands special educational needs and disability (SEND) through their personal experience.
You will need to be good at communicating with lots of different people, one to one and in groups. We need someone with writing skills who is confident about using computers and social media.
This role is part of our young people’s Peer Support Project, so you need to be non-judgemental. You will be working with young people with SEND who are facing challenges in their life.
Amaze is an award-winning local charity that supports young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. Amaze will be offering training and support.
This is an opportunity to get workplace skills such as teamwork, office administration, speaking in public, planning and promoting events and training, finding and producing accessible information.
