Care for the Carers are seeking to recruit a dynamic Media Relations Officer at an exciting time in the development of our organisation that has been supporting unpaid carers across East Sussex for over 25 years.
The ideal candidate will be from a Journalism or Public Relations background and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be confident at building relationships with the media as well as working with our stakeholders - unpaid carers of all ages, the wider community and our voluntary sector, public sector and business partners. They will have the ability to maximise the impact of our new website and continue to build Care for the Carers social media presence.
The role is varied and will require the successful candidate to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and to enjoy a challenge.
