Recovery Worker – OWRS (Oasis Women’s Recovery Service)
£22,863 - £24,264 per year

We are looking for:
We are looking to appoint a Recovery Worker for our East Sussex service. You will be working with women who have experience of drug or alcohol misuse delivering recovery based, psychosocial groups both online and in person to OWRS clients. One to one key working appointments will also be offered on the phone, online and in person to OWRS clients. You will work alongside other professionals and agencies to ensure women are supported to meet their recovery goals. This role will be based between home working and the office in Hastings, with some outreach work in the community.
You will have:
• NVQ3 in health and social care, or equivalent qualification, or willingness to work towards this
• Knowledge of the key issues women substance misusers face and a commitment to helping them access relevant support
• Knowledge and experience of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities; confidentiality procedures and data protection guidelines
• Proven verbal and written communication skills with excellent IT skills and experience of using data management systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as on own initiative
• Resilient, empathetic attitude and work in a way that is reflective, adaptable and non-judgemental and adhere to professional boundaries at all times
• Be willing and able to travel across East Sussex to support clients
