HEART is looking for a competent, part-time Desk Advisor/Volunteer Coordinator to join our team.
The role of Desk Advisor will see you work with our team in our new Community Info Hub at Hastings Town Hall. Full training will be given, enabling you to provide information and guidance to people seeking help with a range of challenges and make referrals to other agencies where more expert assistance is required.
You will also be trained as a Volunteer Coordinator, leading on a programme reaching out to people in Hastings & St.Leonards to decrease health inequalities and managing the Info Hub volunteer team. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for recruiting and overseeing a rota of volunteers, delegating tasks, hosting feedback sessions, and arranging training and other support for volunteers to do their tasks well.
Rate of pay: £1175 pcm, to be paid monthly, by invoice, in arrears. You will be responsible for arranging your own tax and national insurance.
