East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV), on behalf of Healthwatch in Sussex are recruiting a Children and Young Peoples Strategic Involvement Lead. This is an exciting new role, supported by both Healthwatch in Sussex and NHS Sussex, to ensure the voices and experiences of children and young people shape health and care services across Sussex, and that co-productive processes are embedded throughout the planning, review and delivery of care.
Working pattern: 28 hours per week with a flexible approach to days/hours required
Salary: £50,000 per annum (pro rata) (£40,000 actual per annum) depending on experience plus 6% employers pension contribution
Annual Leave: 27 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Contract duration: 12 months fixed term contract (secondment opportunities are welcomed)
Location: Across Sussex (Hybrid working from home, ESCV office in Eastbourne and NHS Sussex offices in Lewes/Hove/Worthing)
The role will take a strategic approach to building on existing work across Sussex, taking a collaborative approach across partners to effectively lead the development of a new model of children and young people’s involvement and engagement.
The role will report to the Executive Director for East Sussex Community Voice and the Associate Director for Public Involvement and Community Partnerships for NHS Sussex (which is the Sussex Integrated Care Board). ESCV will host this role.
