Mediation Plus is a charitable organisation (charity number 1202295), formed, following a merger between Mediation + and Hastings and Rother Mediation Service.
We provide high-quality, impartial, and confidential mediation services to empower individuals, groups, and communities to resolve and manage conflicts themselves across East Sussex. We offer a wide range of mediation services including neighbourhood mediation, conflict coaching, intergenerational mediation (Time 2 Talk), workplace mediation and training.
We are looking for a part-time Time2Talk Co-ordinator to join our team and support us in our aim of reducing conflict experienced by families in East Sussex. The role involves co-ordinating intergenerational mediation cases through our Time2Talk programme, liaising with referrers, young people, parents/carers, and volunteer mediators to provide an effective and professional service.
As a co-ordinator, you will also be responsible for promoting the service, dealing with enquiries, supporting people to access mediation, assessing referrals, and keeping case records up to date. You will work closely with our volunteer mediators providing case support and, following training, you will also work as a co-mediator on cases.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience working with young people and families. Mediation experience is not essential.
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Location: Either our Hailsham or St Leonards-on-Sea Office.
Salary: £22,425 FTE.
DBS checked required. Own transport essential.
