Throughout the year we enrich the children's learning with trips and visits to various places such as farms, the sealife centre, a chinese restaurant, local parks and invite groups to our nursery.
We follow current Ofsted ratios of 1: 4 for 2 year olds and 1: 8 for 3 and 4 year olds but the setting tries to provide 1: 6 for our 3 and 4 year olds as we feel that this is a more suitable environment for learning, playing and thriving.
Our very experienced and qualified staff aims to create a nurturing environment in which the children feel safe, happy and valued as individuals. We provide varying and stimulating surroundings so that the children can develop to their full potential.

We ensure a smooth transition into school by following a full Pre-School curriculum with learning journeys and a tracking system that allows staff to pass on each child’s current level of learning.
We have an enclosed and spacious garden behind the hall which we like to explore whatever the weather and use for sports days, snow play and other seasonal events and activities.
