Shakespeare in Italy
On stage, in school and community workshops and through its charitable foundation, the company gives voice and body to the universal messages tucked within every turn of Shakespeare's iambic rhymed lines, which are still as urgent and relevant today as they have been to societies throughout the last 400 years.
In Italy we worked in schools and at Urbino University with students for whom English was a second and often, in the case of asylum seekers and refugees, a third language. We hope to continue this type of work in Hastings.
