Hastings & St Leonards Men’s Shed is a facility for all 'older' folks living in the Hastings area who like to remain active and socialise with others without commitment. It has a well-equipped workshop where people can pursue woodworking and metalworking ideas or can follow a hobby, share skills, or just sit, relax, chat, read a book and enjoy a cuppa in good company whilst making make new friends. We have a facility where individuals can work on their own projects, on projects for the shed, and also on community projects. ‘The Shed’ is a haven where people can contribute to their own and others wellbeing. ‘The Shed’ was set up early in 2016 by a small steering group. It first opened to members in October and this membership is growing in number and is run by its members for its members. It is affiliated to the national UKMSA.
