The Advocacy People provide advocacy and related services to a wide range of client groups including:IMHA (Independent Mental Health Advocacy), Community Advocacy, Peer Advocacy, IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy), IMCA DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards), Independent Care Act Advocacy, Independent Complaints Advocacy for complaints relating to NHS healthcare, Appropriate Adult Service, support for parents with a learning disability, advocacy for military veterans and advocacy for those going through the work assessment process. As a leading advocacy provider, The Advocacy People invest resources in monitoring, influencing and responding to key developments and initiatives nationally, particularly within the health and social care arena. The Advocacy People is a City and Guilds accredited centre which delivers the Qualification in Independent Advocacy (QIA. The Advocacy People originated in Hastings but provides services throughout the South of England.
