Ore in Bloom was formed in 2010 as a horticultural group. Our aims can be summarised as: the restoration and beautification of green space, the beautification of Ore Village High Street and pedestrian shopping zones, the encouragement of flower gardening and vegetable growing either through an annual competition for residents, businesses and schools or by a regular workshop event. Our intention is to encourage all horticultural activities and green space renewal by individuals and other groups with similar goals. Our chief areas of operation are the electorial wards of Ore, Baird, Tressell and St Helen's.
