Artbox-on-Sea
Artbox-on-Sea provides a therapeutic health and wellbeing service to children, young people and their parents/carers who have experienced trauma and where there are attachment difficulties. The service works with vulnerable and deprived children whose parents may experience difficulties in caring for them due to their own emotional and mental health needs. Art and play based psychotherapy is used individually and jointly with children and parents to improve the mental health of individuals and families so that children can experience healthy and positive attachment with their primary caregivers, enabling them to fulfil their potential and live healthier lifestyles. We also work closely with foster carers, supporting placements of vulnerable children.
