The scheme aims to establish and support a network of community based volunteers who will provide practical support to people with life shortening illnesses in their own homes throughout the Hastings and Rother area. This support could include dogwalking, light gardening, collecting prescriptions or simply a cup of tea and a chat. The service extends the ability of St Michael’s Hospice to support a person’s choice to remain at home at the end of life
