The level of arts community involvement in local decision-making varies, but there's growing recognition of the important role culture plays in community development and decision-making processes. Local authorities are increasingly developing cultural strategies that actively involve the community in decision-making and planning.
Creative thinking in crisis: how are the arts surviving? How much are you involved in decision making? How are you making events affordable?
Come and share experiences, tools and tips.

This month's meeting theme is Intergenerational Work.
MECC (Making Every Contact Count) is a practical introduction to the skills in talking to people about the issues they are concerned about or the changes they are seeking to make. It is all about supporting people to identify and access the things that could help them. So if your work brings you into frequent contact with people and you want to improve the likelihood of making a real difference this training could be for you.
