Based at Café North Recovery Hub in Eastbourne and ESRA Grub Hub Hastings
15 hours a week Monday to Friday
Salary : £7,301 a year
(every other Saturday in Hastings and occasional weekends Eastbourne)
ESRA is a peer led charity its key purpose is to:
• Helping people to start, and sustain recovery from drug and alcohol dependence and avoid relapse
• Enable people to change their lives by developing their personal, social and community recovery capital
• Ensuring ESRA and its representatives are clear about what ESRA does
• Ensuring people are signposted to the most appropriate treatment services
• Providing empathetic support to staff, volunteers and service users
• Understanding and being mindful of what support is in the best interests of each individual
• Supporting people to be independent and resilient through community support
• Supporting people countywide
East Sussex Recovery Alliance is a peer led recovery project working with those in recovery from substance misuse and their families. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting those on their Recovery journey.
You will be required to prepare low cost healthy food and have a level 2 food hygiene certificate. You need to be an excellent communicator and be flexible, welcoming, trustworthy and appropriately friendly to all those who come into the hubs. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage and experience of cashing up and ordering stock.
Enhanced DBS will be required.
