Every year Director of Public Health in East Sussex, Darrell Gayle, produces a report that highlights key issues around community health and wellbeing across East Sussex. His annual report this year focuses on 'Creativity for Healthier Lives'. HVA are pleased to be able to share that some of the amazing community development projects in Hastings & St Leonards have been celebrated in the report, including the Mr Hastings & St Leonards project hosted by HVA, Making It Happen, and HVA member organisations Arts on Prescription and Take Action Man.
Mr Hastings & St Leonards Project Manager Teresa Flower said "The Mr Hastings and St Leonards movement has been shaped by the creativity of local men who have shared their own powerful stories to explore masculinity, and tackling the stigma around men and mental health. It is wonderful to see their achievements recognized through quotes, photos and film clips in Darrell’s report”.
