We are now looking for an experienced individual to join our Let’s Get Working team. LGW is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund and supports people with long-term health conditions and disabilities to find work.
Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week.
Based in Bexhill with some travel expected across East Sussex.
Salary range: £24,012 - £27,041 per annum, dependent on skills and experience

SCDA are recruiting for a Senior Development Worker to develop a Community Hub in central Bexhill and Sidley. Working in conjunction with SCDA management to source a suitable Hub venue in central Bexhill, the post holder will then develop the hub into a vibrant community asset.
A key element of the role will be supporting and facilitating activities at the Community hub as part of the BSWT Project, which provides effective, person-centred and holistic support to 300 residents who are inactive, unemployed and furthest from the labour market in the area and enable individuals and communities to gain more control over their health and wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who takes a hands-on approach to the co-ordination and delivery (in conjunction with partners) of a broad range of initiatives, which meet the community needs of all ages and backgrounds. These could range from Employability to Health & Wellbeing initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have experience of developing, delivering and evaluating services in the community, and of partnership and inter-agency working. Experience of working with central government funding regimes and of collaborating on and/or writing funding bids, would be an advantage.
You will be a motivated self-starter who is able to plan, use initiative and have a flexible approach to community engagement. Overall you will be a confident and credible ambassador for SCDA, showing sensitivity to the aims and values of the organisation as a whole.The post is subject to a DBS check, and being a car owner and driver is preferred.
Connecting Hastings and Rother Together (CHART) Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme is delivering the CHART CLLD Local Development Strategy to support projects that bring a fresh approach to tackling deep-rooted problems in deprived communities within Hastings and Bexhill. The Programme uses European Structural and Investment Funds.
