Volunteer & Community Engagement Support Worker

East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV) is an independent Community Interest Company which delivers the local Healthwatch functions and the European it takes a Village to Raise A Child (VRAC) project in East Sussex.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys meeting people, demonstrates integrity, works well as part of a team, and always strives for excellence in everything they do.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (Flexible)

Salary: £25,000 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £12,500 pa)

Contract: Fixed Term to 31st March 2022.

Location: Based in Eastbourne (currently working from home)

The Volunteer and Community Engagement Support Worker will work closely with all ESCV staff to co-deliver volunteer and community engagement activity for ESCV.

This role will support the development of wider ESCV activity, by contributing to the recruitment and support, including administrative support to a pool of volunteers (including young volunteers) to undertake Healthwatch functions and other volunteering opportunities within ESCV. It will also include supporting community outreach and engagement activities.

This interesting and varied role is supported by a small team of colleagues with a wide range of expertise.
