Volunteer Network Co-ordinator

The Hastings Emergency Action Resilience Team (HEART) is looking for a Volunteer Network Co-ordinator to join their team in a part-time, fixed-term position for six months. You’ll be responsible for managing a team connecting with our fantastic volunteers, updating records and their availability to help others in the community.

The role provides remuneration for three days a week, working from home, with flexibility to work around your own commitments. Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Sussex Community Foundation, the role could be expanded or continued beyond its initial six-month period if further funding and resources allow.

Ideally, you’ll be familiar with working with databases, excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft applications. If you have experience working with volunteers in another capacity this would be an advantage. You’ll also need to be a good ‘people’ person, listening to volunteer feedback and working with a strong team of committed helpers.
